My career interests are motivated by improving techniques that detect early onset of health-related issues. I am currently involved in improving techniques to identify ancestral protein sequences.

I have completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Movement characterisation with accelerometry for improved paediatric sleep assessment). Signal processing techniques were applied to raw movement data to explore physiological indicators of sleep disorder. These indicators were used to quantify signs of sleep disorder and thereby provide a non-invasive alternative to in-hospital procedures.

I have also completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) with Hons and a Bachelor of Information Technology dual degree.

Programming experience: Java, C, C#, C++, Python
