Welcome to the CisMapper Server
CisMapper predicts the gene targets of regulatory genomic loci using gene expression and histone data.
CisMapper takes genomic loci input in bed6 format fixme link. These loci can be:
- Enhancer regions
- Tissue-specific TF binding events (e.g., ChIP-seq peaks)
- Regions with unspecified regulatory activity (e.g., DNAse hypersensitivity sites)
- Loci containing disease-associated SNPs
CisMapper produces sorted lists of regulatory predictions for:
- Locus-gene pairs
- Gene targets
- Regulatory loci of a gene(s)
CisMapper can predict targets of tissue specific regulatory loci (such as binding events) even without histone or expression data from that tissue. CisMapper can also predict TSS-specific targets if TSS-specific expression data is used.
